Our Commitment to the Environment
Throughparallel companies to the TRACTOS group, we keep in the XIV region of the country investments in the Forest sector, through which, we have more than 100 hectares of forest with a capacity for processing 1,200 tons of CO2 annually. This initiative represents an important effort and materializes our commitment to the environment.
Our effort to offset the emissions produced by our fleet is translate into the commitment of to plant 1 tree for each service rendered. We call this “PLAN 1:1”, which was implemented in 2009.
Reliable commitment to the environment, resulting in policies and concrete facts in TRACTOS. Captivate slogans or famous phrases are used by many companies, in relation to environment issues. In TRACTOS, action speaks louder than words:
- Environmental Care ISO 14001:2015 certification.
- More than 100 hectares of mature forest.
- Modern fleet which complies with the most stringent emission standards.
- Exhaustive fleet maintenance program.
- Control and management of waste.
Since 2008, we remain current the “Safety First” program targeted to improve the mitigation measures of the operational risks.
